Visiting I. House

For alumni, International House will always be your "home away from home". If you are traveling to New York City, we hope you will consider stopping by 500 Riverside Drive and taking a walk down memory lane.

Alumni may visit the House Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. We ask that if you are planning on “dropping in”, please arrive through the Riverside Entrance. The Alumni Office will be happy to take you around on a guided tour or allow you to explore on your own. If you would like to visit the House outside of regular business hours, please call the Alumni Office at 212-316-8425 or email alumni@ihouse-nyc.org to make arrangements.

International House also offers overnight accommodations in several guest rooms and guest suites for those wishing to visit for several days. Alumni of the House receive a discount on these rooms. Guest rooms and suites offer hotel-style accommodation and a wonderful choice for your upcoming visit to New York City.

	Guest rooms feature a private bathroom, two twin size beds, daily housekeeping service, color television, a small refrigerator and air conditioning. Located in I. House South and North, guest rooms can accomodate no more than three people. Prices begin at $105 and are based on occupancy.
	Guest Suites are equipped with a bedroom and a separate living room area. The room includes a full private bath, two twin beds and a pullout sofa, daily housekeeping service, color television, a small refrigerator, and air conditioning. Prices begin at $120 and are based on occupancy.

Space is limited in both the suites and rooms, and alumni are encouraged to book well in advance of their trip. A valid visa or mastercard is required to make a reservation. To reserve a guest room or guest suite, please call the Admissions Office at 212-316-8436 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST or email admissions@ihouse-nyc.org. Please note that reservations are not confirmed until you receive a notification email from the Admissions Office. Don’t forget to mention that you are an alumnus/a of the House to receive your discount.

Alumni may also reserve a single dormitory-style room in I. House South. Reservations for short-term stays in I. House South rooms are only made 10 days in advance and are limited. A discount for alumni will apply.
