The Alumni Program

The success of the International House experience can be measured in many ways, but most especially by the citizens of the world it produces. I. House is proud to count over 65,000 talented individuals around the world as its alumni.

Alumni of International House are those former resident members who lived at the House for at least thirty consecutive days. Their I. House experience has helped shape their personalities and professions and provided a lifelong network of remarkable friends committed to promoting cross-cultural understanding.

International House offers its alumni numerous ways to stay in touch with the House and each other. From on-line services such as the alumni directory, message boards and class notes to periodic events and receptions across the globe, I. House alumni can continue the conversations that began over a meal in the dining room or a resident round table and carry on the I. House bond.

Alumni impact our current residents in numerous ways. By volunteering to recruit or mentor residents, alumni help ensure that the House remains diverse and its residents are prepared for the challenges of a global community. Through gifts to the annual fund and special projects, alumni help the House provide thought-provoking programs, top-notch facilities and scholarships for residents in need.
