Application Process

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet admissions criteria for residency at International House.

Grantees are selected through a competitive process by the Women's International Leadership Program Advisory Council. The selected participants show a commitment to professional careers in such international arenas as business, education, government services, law, medicine, and the arts.

  • They are also eager to build and maintain a supportive network of global colleagues who will continue to help each other as they face the life-long challenges of leadership.
  • They intend to work in a profession which requires a global vision and wish to develop and/or enhance skills that will make them effective leaders.
  • They believe they can make a difference in their chosen field.
