"I would have to travel the world to meet the people I come home to every day at I. House"

Our Neighborhood

New York City boasts the largest student population among US cities.  One Campus NYC helps connect students to a large selection of resources to help you navigate the opportunities offered by such a large community.

International House is ideally located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan's Upper West Side.  Often referred to as New York's "Academic Acropolis", Morningside Heights houses such world famous institutions as Columbia University, Barnard College, Manhattan School of Music, Bank Street College of Education, Union Theological Seminary and Jewish Theological Seminary.  The neighborhood is also home to many New York landmarks including The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, Grant's Tomb, Riverside Church and St. Luke's Hospital.

In addition to all of the benefits an academic neighborhood has to offer, Morningside Heights has all of the amenities of a residential area with banks, grocery stores, drug stores, a post office and many restaurants of various ethicities within walking distance.  Public transportation is also easily accessible with the 1, A, B, C and D subway trains and 4, 5, 11, 60 and 104 bus lines all blocks away.
