The Patricia M. Cloherty Visitor Program

Life Trustee Patricia M. Cloherty

The Patricia M. Cloherty Visitor Program was established in 2006 in honor of Ms. Cloherty, an International House alumna and Life Trustee who has distinguished herself as one of the world’s leading venture capitalists and a pioneer for women in international finance. This program was established by the Board of Trustees to honor her longtime support of International House as a Trustee, World Council Member, and a founder of the Women’s International Leadership (WIL) Program.

The Inaugural Patricia Cloherty Program welcomed Ms. Cloherty as the guest speaker for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2007. Ms. Cloherty discussed her long career as a venture capitalist and shared inspiring lessons from her business experience fostering entrepreneurship in the United States as well as Russia and Eastern Europe. Preceding her address to the broader I-House community, Ms. Cloherty met privately with the WIL Grantees and offered them concrete professional development advice.
