Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Norman Cohen (b. 1932, d. 2016) was a resident at I-House in 1954, 1956, and 1957. As he promised to do on his application, Cohen did “participate in the general intellectual life of the student community [and] perform with [his] guitar on several occasions” during his time here. His 14th studio album, “Thanks for the Dance,” compiled by his son Adam following his death in 2016, became available today, Friday, November 22nd, 2019. Read more here.
