Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Norman Cohen (1932-2016) was a resident at I-House in 1954, 1956, and 1957. As written on his application, Cohen “participate[d] in the general intellectual life of the student community [and] perform with [his] guitar on several occasions.” His 14th studio album, “Thanks for the Dance,” compiled by his son Adam following his death in 2016, became available today, Friday, November 22nd, 2019.
