Virtual Cooking Masterclass with Dan Dorado, Co-Founder of The Migrant Kitchen (Dessert Edition)

Residents: Receive a Free Kit of Ingredients If You RSVP by Wednesday, May 19. RSVP here. Please join us for an interactive cooking masterclass and conversation with Dan Dorado, Co-Founder of The Migrant Kitchen (TMK), I-House’s Dining Services team. Dan will discuss the origins of The Migrant Kitchen and how they have taken Latin & Middle Eastern fusion to a whole new level of deliciousness. He’ll show you how to cook one of his signature desserts, Knafeh (Lebanese and Middle Eastern dessert made with a layer of shredded Phyllo dough, a layer of sweet cheese and a special Knafeh filling mixture), and share about his journey, TMK’s mission as a social good food company, and how the TMK partnership with I-House developed. Alumni and friends of I-House are welcome to join! The ingredients list and event link will be provided when you register. To residents: If you would like to cook along with Dan and your fellow Residents, I-House will provide you a FREE kit of ingredients! Sign up here by Wednesday, May 19 if you would like to receive a free kit. Please note: if you RSVP after Wednesday, May 19, you will still be welcome to cook with us, but you will not be eligible to receive a complimentary kit. However, you can purchase similar ingredients from the local grocery store.
