Amenities & Rates
The House is comprised of two adjacent buildings known as I-House North and I-House South. In light of the precautionary measures being implemented for the safety of residents and staff, only I-House North will be available for the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 academic year.
All bedrooms are furnished, single occupancy private residential rooms. The rates vary according to factors such as size, floor and view. The fees paid by Residents pay only a portion of the cost to operate International House. The difference is made up through generous donations from alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends.
I-House North is an apartment-style building with furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments and 3, 4 or 5 bedroom apartment suites.

Residents enjoy many spaces to study, socialize, eat, dance, learn about fellow Residents, and get involved in community life. The most rewarding experiences at International House occur in these shared spaces. Graduate students and young professionals from institutions across New York City reside in our affordable housing facilities.
