Facilitated by I-House NY, this competitive fellowship program admits a select number of I-House Resident women who display exceptional leadership qualities and the potential to become impactful leaders in their field. Each year’s cohort reflects the global population of I-House Residents, who hail from more than 100 countries. Through a series of workshops and seminars with invited speakers from a wide range of global industries, WIL Fellows cultivate their personal leadership identity, cross-cultural competencies, and professional skills in a tightly knit environment. Fellows also receive one-on-one mentorship with established professionals, many of whom are I-House and WIL Alumnae. Since its inception in 1990, WIL has made it possible for more than 500 diversely talented women from all over the world to gain specialized skills and valuable training, preparing them for leadership roles in business, government, and civil society in their respective nations.
