International House Stands Against Hatred

Recently, our community has witnessed stunning acts of violence rooted in negative sentiment especially against people of Asian descent. As an institution and a global community, International House condemns violence and racism in all its forms. We stand in solidarity with statements and efforts to abolish hatred, and we stand with those who share our mission to cultivate peace through international understanding. For 97 years we have spread this ethic by providing a transformative living experience to residents from all cultures and from every corner of the world that encourages them to learn from one another and form lifelong friendships. Our alumni are testament to our success, maintaining connections with each another and with I-House that span the globe. International House was founded on the belief in the power of diversity and a vision of peace through mutual understanding and respect; this belief guides our institution to this day.
