Ross Youngman ’91 Aces Swimming Triple Crown

I-House alum and trustee Ross Youngman ’91 has achieved what few men or women have before: the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming. With a swim around Manhattan Island on September 12, he completed the global feat, having swum the Catalina Channel off the California Coast in June, and the English Channel in July. International House Announces 2022 Board of Trustees

New York, NY (July 2022) – International House held its annual meeting of the Executive Board of Trustees on June 13, 2022. Summer Dance Lessons at I-House

We were thrilled to welcome back to the House alum Ray LC ’20, who led a series of ballroom dance lessons for our summer residents. Over the course of a few weeks, the residents had a great time meeting eachother and learning Swing, and then Rueda, in our Main Lounge and Gymnasium. As usual, the events were free and open to current residents.

International House is pleased to announce a new financial aid opportunity for all Academic Year residents. Starting in the fall of 2022, The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Award will cover the full cost of housing as well as the meal plan for a room with or without a sink in the South Building at International House. Started in the 1960s by former staffer and I-House legend Herman “HR” Rottenberg, Ice Cream Socials bring Residents together simply to meet one another and enjoy a sweet treat. These informal events pop up throughout the year, and invitations are sent internally to all residents.
