2026 Class Gift

The 2026 Resident Class Gift Campaign is an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the I-House community and shape the place you have called home. This year the Class Gift will be raising funds to help revitalize the community space on the Abby O’Neill Patio! The patio is a major part of the I-House experience, especially this year as it is the main entrance. Together, we can make it an even more welcoming and versatile space for relaxing, connecting, and celebrating!

The Class Gift 101 Committee is partnering with the I-House administration on this initiative to focus the funds on new patio furniture that will improve the functionality of the space. The furniture pieces will display a plaque commemorating the Class of 2026. Our goal is to reach 300 resident donors and $5,000 resident giving, culminating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony when the patio reopens in July 2026!

Your participation means a lot to us and every gift, no matter the size, will help us refresh the patio that residents will enjoy for years to come!

In honor of 101 years of I-House, the first 101 residents who make a gift (of any amount) will skip the lottery and receive guaranteed admission to Candlelight Sunday Supper in May. There, we will present a giant check on stage to I-House President, Sebastian Fries. You won’t want to miss it!

About the Resident Class Gift Campaign

The annual Resident Class Gift Campaign brings current I-House residents together to make a direct and meaningful impact on their community. The campaign was conducted annually from 2003 to 2019 and was titled the Resident Member Gift Campaign. In 2025 we brought it back in honor of the Centennial year of I-House!

Last year the Centennial Class Gift campaign raised close to $13,000 for emergency financial aid with help from alumni, trustees, staff, and friends. Residents contributed over $5,000 toward the campaign. The Centennial Class Gift had a major impact on residents in need. During the summer of 2025, 85 residents received emergency aid from 43 countries out of 108 applicants.
