Resident Class Gift Campaign

The 2026 Resident Class Gift campaign has officially ended. This year, the Class Gift raised a total of $11,740 from 255 residents, and included support from several alumni, trustees, and friends.

This year’s Class Gift supported the revitalization of the Abby O’Neill Patio, an important gathering space at I-House. The patio served as the community’s main entrance for approximately eight months while the Claremont Lobby was under renovation. Together, Class Gift supporters helped to make the space more accessible, welcoming, and functional for future residents.

Commemorative plaques honoring donors to the 2026 Class Gift will be placed on furniture pieces on the patio.

The annual Resident Class Gift Campaign brings current I-House residents together to make a direct and meaningful impact on their community. The campaign was conducted annually from 2003 to 2019 and was titled the Resident Member Gift Campaign. In 2025 it was brought back in honor of I-House’s centennial.

During the 2024-25 academic year, the Centennial Class Gift campaign raised nearly $13,000 for the Emergency Financial Aid Fund at I-House with help from alumni, trustees, staff, and friends. Residents contributed over $5,000 toward the campaign. The Centennial Class Gift had a major impact on residents in need with 85 residents who received emergency aid from 43 countries during the summer of 2025.

Prior Class Gift campaigns raised funds for the Annual Fund, financial aid, equipment for the Game Room, sustainability improvements, and more.
